Compugen Inc. is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our business. This Statement outlines the measures we have taken to prevent and mitigate the risk of forced labour and child labour in our operations and supply chains, in accordance with Canada's Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (S.C. 2023, c.9).
Policies and Due Diligence
We have implemented a comprehensive purchasing policy and Sustainability and Vendor Code of Conduct that strictly prohibits forced and child labour. All vendors are required to comply, and we assess their adherence through surveys and public disclosures.
Risk Management
Compugen prioritizes local sourcing and partners with reputable manufacturers in jurisdictions with strong laws against forced and child labour. We have assessed major OEMs for compliance and will expand this review as needed.
Remediation Measures
To date, we have not identified any instances of forced or child labour in our supply chain. Should such issues arise, we will take immediate action, including supplier engagement, corrective measures, and potential termination of contracts.
Income Remediation
No income remediation actions have been necessary, as no cases of forced or child labour have been identified.
Employee Training
We are developing training materials to educate staff on ethical sourcing and our Sustainability and Vendor Code of Conduct. This initiative supports our commitment to human rights, sustainability, and fair labour practices.
Effectiveness Assessment
Our due diligence includes annual vendor assessments, contract reviews, and staff education. We continuously refine our purchasing practices to strengthen compliance and ethical standards.
